Ed Sullivan Jr. was the cartoonist who drew for The Catholic Exponent, the Youngstown diocesan paper. His cartoons were syndicated through his company Avant features. Sullivan's cartoons often satirized the Church in the post- Vatican II era. Cartoons ran in The Catholic Standard and Times from 1971 through the 1980s.
